Available Settings
Firm Name
Set your organization's display name. This appears in the organization dropdown and throughout the app.
Default Jurisdiction
Choose your firm's default jurisdiction from the dropdown (Not set, New York, New Jersey, California, Texas, Florida, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, or Illinois), then click Save Settings.
When set, case-law citations in chat whose deciding court sits in a different state are automatically flagged for review — the same "out of jurisdiction" flag the Citation Verifier uses. This means your team doesn't have to pick a jurisdiction on every check; chat verification uses the firm default.
The default can be overridden at a more specific level. Jurisdiction resolves in this order:
- Case-level jurisdiction (if the conversation is linked to a case that specifies one)
- Attorney profile jurisdiction
- Firm default (this setting)
- A system-wide fallback
Default AI Model
Choose the default AI model for your firm:
- GPT-4o - OpenAI's latest model
- Claude Sonnet - Anthropic's Claude model
- Other available models
The default model is used for all new conversations. Individual users can override this per conversation if needed.
System Prompt
Customize the AI assistant's behavior for your firm. The system prompt provides instructions that guide how the AI responds to questions.
Example customizations:
- Specify your practice areas
- Set preferred citation formats
- Add firm-specific research guidelines
Saving Changes
After making changes:
- Review your settings
- Click Save
- Changes take effect immediately for all firm members
